On June 13th 2007 from 10-11:45 a.m. we will be meeting at the Mabuhay office to discuss low-income energy programs the role of and community-based groups. We will also be discussing minority small business opportunities and the need for more minorities in corporate America particularly at the management level.
This June 13th meeting is in preparation for our exclusive and private luncheon meeting with the California Public Utilities Commissioner who has primary reasonability for low-income energy programs and is a strong supporter of minority empowerment. Her name is Commissioner Dian Grueneich. She will meet with up to 30 of us for a private luncheon at the San Diego Central Library on June 19th at noon.
The Greenlining Institute, which has taken the lead in a wide range of low-income energy programs and is the national leader in securing corporate commitments for minority-owned businesses and for diversity has agreed to attend our June 13th meeting.
